Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! What a way to bring the New Year in, COLD, COLD, COLD. I cannot remember when we have had such a cold snap at the beginning of the NEW YEAR. I am sure it has happened but I just don't remember it at all. With the wind adding to the chill factor it is almost unbearable as I feed the horses. We have moved the outside dogs into the barn at night to make sure they can stay warm enough. Some of the cats migrate to the garage and the rest to the tack room. I hope this cold spell ends soon! I am happy we have had a good stretch of cold though as it helps get rid of many unwanted pest for the next warm season. But I am ready to get warm again and back to selling houses. I have seen an increase in calls and interest just this week and I am very happy for it. We all could use a pick up in business regardless of the business you are in. We at Ford Real Estate will have a new model home in the Brickhouse Landing Subdivision this Spring and I am more excited than ever to see it. I am sure it will surpass the first model and for the life of me I don't know how Mr. Jones will do it, but I know he will.
